Cousin TL host of Stank Free Radio heard every Saturday Night at 7:00 on 103.3 AshevilleFM. The show spotlights Neo-Soul, Alternative and Contemporary R&B, along with Abstract Hip-Hop. A longtime lover of radio and music since the day he was born, growing up in Detroit, MI, Cousin TL consumed Rock, Ska, and of course Motown. At the age of 10, TL would be introduced to the music of Prince Rogers Nelson. After experiencing his first concert “The 1999 Tour”, he would then follow and witnessed the evolution of this phenomenon.
Currently, for ten years, Cousin TL has continuously produced damn-good radio on Asheville’s community airways. Featuring new, undiscovered music and lost jams from legendary Prince. In the past three years, TL honors Prince by broadcasting (the now annual) Purple Tribute Special on Stank Free Radio.
