Okapi was formed in Chicago during the Spring of 2012 when Illinois native Scott Gorski (bass/voice) met Missouri native Lindsey Miller (cello). Their varying styles and backgrounds prompted their unique fusion, which through many changes lead Okapi to its current state of refinement. Armed with catharsis and their raw, organic performances, Okapi presents its doctrine of consciousness and individual empowerment to all who are willing to listen.
